Returning Members

If you are a returning member, your Raffle Box credits from the past season have been added to your Gray Jay account.  If you have any questions regarding credits, please contact Mary-Lou at registrar@tasa.ca.

All Under-15 (U15) players who are trying out for U15 Major and Under-18 (U18) players who are trying out for U16AAA and/or High School, should also register with TASA and use the off-line option as payment.

Outstanding fees from previous seasons must be paid to be considered in good standing.  Accounts in both Gray Jay and the HCR have been blocked with outstanding amounts, so please contact the registrar once payments have been made.

New Members

All new members must contact the registrar at registrar@tasa.ca.  The following documentation is required for new members to register.  The Parent Declaration Form is only required for members transferring from another association and have been registered with a Hockey Canada program.

Required Documentation for New Members

·        Copy of Birth Certificate or Passport

·        Proof of Residence (Government issued document such as your license)

·        Parent Declaration Form (any member transferring from another association must complete this form.

New members will not be considered registered until all required documentation has been received by the registrar.

Family Discount

Families with three (3) or more children registered and playing on TASA teams for the 2026-2027 season will receive a family discount.  After registering two players, each subsequent registration will receive a $215 credit.  The Gray Jay system does not automatically apply this credit, so please contact Mary-Lou at registrar@tasa.ca before you register your players so the credit can be applied to your account.

Please note:  Players who do not remain on a TASA team do not qualify for the family discount.

U13AAA TRYOUTS

IF YOU TAKE PART IN THE U13AAA TRYOUTS AND ARE RELEASED, YOU WILL BE CHARGED A $100 TRYOUT FEE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE U13AA/A/B TRYOUTS.

U15 B TRYOUTS (NON-CONTACT)

PLAYERS WHO HAVE REGISTERED FOR THE U15B (NON-CONTACT) TRYOUTS WILL JOIN TRYOUTS AFTER PHASE 2, WHICH ACCOUNTS FOR THE TRYOUT FEE OF $100.

Upon Making a Competitive Team:

• Competitive fees of $250 per player are due by January 15, 2027.  This fee will be submitted to TASA as one payment from your team through your Team Manager, not separate payments for individual players.  Competitive fees are included in your team budget, giving teams the option to fundraise for this expense.
• U13 AAA, U15 AA, U15A, U18 AA, and A teams play 1.5-hour games.  Extra costs for ice, refs, and timekeepers will be $175 per player.  Competitive fees for these teams will be $425 per player ($250 regular competitive fee and $175 for extra ice).  This fee will be included in your team budget and submitted as one payment from your team by your Team Manager, due January 15, 2027.

Payment Options

TASA accepts payment by credit card or etransfer.  We do not accept cash or cheques.  If you choose to pay by etransfer, please send payment to etransfer@tasa.ca.  No password is required, but please put your players name and division in the message.

Payment can be made in full, or by way of 3 installments, Sept 15th, Oct 15th, and Nov 15th.  A $100 payment is required when you register.

Player Assistance Funds

The Victor T. Shea Assistance Fund is available to families in TASA who may require assistance with registration fees and/or the purchasing of gear.  This fund was set up by the Victor Shea family to ensure that children were not prevented from playing hockey due to financial restraints.  The applications are kept strictly confidential.  If you or you know of someone in the association in need of assistance, please click here:  Player Assistance Funds | TASA Minor Hockey Association for Player Assistance Fund programs.
